In line with the rapid digital transformation, Vision 2030, and the Kingdom’s hosting of the Esports World Cup, SCOP conducted a comprehensive 2025 study examining Saudi gamers’ behaviors, preferences, usage patterns, and attitudes toward local content reflecting Saudi culture and identity. The survey covered 1,098 Saudi mobile phone users (18+), representing 96% of the Saudi population per GASTAT surveys, with a ±2.6% margin of error. Download the report:

SCOP surveys indicate that:99% of Saudis use social media, with WhatsApp, Snapchat, and YouTube ranking highest in usage.89% of Saudis use at least one streaming platform, with Shahid leading for the third consecutive year.49% of Saudis use artificial intelligence, and 31% of its users utilize it daily.The novelty of artificial intelligence and the adoption by half of Saudis suggests a high rate of future adoption.

The Saudi Center for Public Opinion Polls conducted a study on 1,084 Saudi citizens (aged 18+) to identify their usage patterns and preferences regarding artificial intelligence tools. Main Areas: 1. Usage of AI tools 2. Most commonly used AI tools 3. Impact of artificial intelligence Key Findings: 49% of Saudi society uses artificial intelligence technologies, with ChatGPT leading as the most used tool at 41%. The results also showed that 94% of users see a positive impact of artificial intelligence on their lives.
