The Saudi Center for Opinion Polls (SCOP) participated in the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, held at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh, through a panel discussion titled “From the Childhood of Books to the Childhood of Screens.” The session presented the results of a survey on children’s reading habits, led by Mr. Saud Al-Ghamdi and moderated by Ms. Noura Al-Roumi. The discussion received wide engagement from the audience, generating a rich dialogue around the survey’s findings. Participants expressed their appreciation to SCOP for its ongoing annual initiatives and dedicated efforts to promote reading in its various dimensions.

The paper sparked wide engagement and discussion among participants.This participation reflects SCOP’s commitment to strengthening its international presence and advancing public opinion research in line with the highest professional standards.

The Saudi Center for Opinion Polling (SCOP) participation in the WAPOR International Conference in Seoul has laid the foundation for scientific collaboration with European counterparts in developing metrics and standards for response rates in surveys and their impacts.

SCOP concluded its participation in the 77th annual international conference hosted by the World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR), held in Seoul, South Korea, from July 28-31. The conference was attended by hundreds of researchers from 51 countries. Dr. Abdullah Alhokail, President of SCOP, highlighted the importance of addressing this methodological issue in his research paper, especially considering the current variance in international practices and the lack of specific solutions from recognized international bodies.
