(SCOP)Saudi Center for Opinion Polls presents its vision for employing artificial intelligence in measuring public opinion. This occurred during its participation in the 80th Annual Conference of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), which was held in St. Louis, United States, from May 14 to 16 of this year.
In this context, Dr. Saad Al-Qahtani presented a scientific paper on handling missing values in public opinion surveys and polls: a comparative study between traditional methods and machine learning approaches in compensating for missing values, highlighting the results and challenges of each methodology.
In addition, Dr. Haifa Al-Qasim presented a scientific paper titled “The Dual Methodology in Analyzing Public Opinion Trends: Integrating Twitter Platform Analytics and Telephone Surveys Using Artificial Intelligence Techniques and Natural Language Processing.” She showcased a field experiment combining digital analysis tools and traditional surveys to understand societal trends with greater accuracy and depth.
Both experiences and the innovative ideas they raised received engagement from the audience.
