For the second consecutive year, the Saudi Center for Opinion Polling (SCOP) conducted a survey on Saudis’ attitudes toward the use of artificial intelligence tools, with the aim of understanding their usage patterns and preferences.
The 2026 survey included a sample of 814 Saudi citizens aged 18 and above. The key findings were as follows:
- – 64% of Saudi society use artificial intelligence tools, with ChatGPT remaining the most widely used tool.
- – The use of artificial intelligence tools is higher among younger age groups.
- – Female users report higher levels of AI use than male users.
- – Riyadh and Qassim lead the regions of the Kingdom in terms of the proportion of AI users.
- – In both 2025 and 2026, the majority of AI users reported using these tools daily or several times a week.
- – Thirty percent of AI users believe that their current jobs could be replaced by artificial intelligence in the near future. Among AI users, those working in administrative and educational fields are the most likely to hold this view.
