81% of the Saudi community was aware of the vaccine 11 days after the first dose was administered in the kingdom. This is a great success for the efforts made by Saudi official institutions.

The Saudi Center for Public Opinion Research (SCOP) has developed a model for the factors that affect the community’s acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine in Saudi Arabia.

SCOP’s study tested 16 factors, but only 6 factors were successful in building the model or the practical formula for dealing with the vaccine.

Three factors have a negative impact: women compared to men, direct experience with the disease, and reliance on unofficial Twitter accounts.

Four factors have a positive impact: men compared to women, awareness of the vaccine, exposure to the experience of influential social forces, and personal previous experience with the disease.
