Public Opinion Polling and the Economy

The Saudi Center for Opinion Polls (SCOP) recently engaged in an insightful session at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) hosted by Dr. Ismail Radwan, Director for Economics and Investment Strategy, focusing on “The power of polling.”

During the visit, Dr Abdullah Alhokail and Cees Faber showcased examples across various sectors such as sports, tourism, housing, health, and expats, emphasizing the significance of representative sampling, scientific rigor, and accuracy throughout the survey process.

Furthermore, critical points and “watch-outs” to consider when conducting surveys were highlighted, enriching the discussion. The meeting concluded with both teams exploring potential avenues for future collaboration.
